MiTRYBE

Getting Started

From zero to your first unlock

A calm path through signup, questions, and the moment the product starts feeling like yours.

Don't guess. Ask — then earn the map

Mainstream apps infer taste from surveillance and then barrage you. MiTRYBE starts the other way: you answer clear either/or questions, we map the dimensions behind those choices, and features unlock when the map is strong enough to be useful.

Getting started is not a multi-hour onboarding. It is five moves — account, dashboard, questions, first unlock, then optional depth. Everything after that is paced by you.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Sign up with email or Google. Pick a display name you are fine seeing on your dashboard. Authentication runs through Firebase so your session stays tied to you — not an anonymous browser tab.

  2. 02

    Open the dashboard

Your dashboard is the unlock board. Features start greyed. That is the point: MiTRYBE does not pretend you have earned depth you have not built yet. Glance at the thresholds so you know what is coming.

  3. 03

    Answer a handful of questions

Open Questions and take either/or prompts at your pace. Ten solid answers unlock the Taste Map. Fifteen open the Inference Ledger. You do not need a marathon sitting — consistency beats a forced binge.

  4. 04

    Read what you unlocked

When a tile opens, visit it. The Taste Map shows dimensions, not a single score. The Ledger shows what each answer taught the system — revisable and honest. Treat early output as a sketch you refine.

  5. 05

Keep going when you are ready

At 25 answers, Florida Food Map arrives with because-clauses. Later layers add place energy, friend overlaps, discovery, and a deeper map. Skip when neither option fits; only real answers climb the ladder.
